Hi my name’s Mandi and this
was supposed to be my site…I don’t know whatever
happened to that, but I still quite fancy it, don’t you?
…Yeah, you better.
Anyway, I live in Illinois USA, near the great (and shifty) city
of Chicago. And yes, it is in fact windy.
I’ve been surrounded by U2 pretty much my whole life, as my
parents, (especially my mother), also likes U2. I first heard U2
when I was nine and got a hold of a tape of Mysterious Ways,
which I played over and over (and over). Around mid to late 1999,
I got the Best Of 1980-1990 for my birthday and I’ve been a
U2 nut ever since.
I must confess (quite proudly) that I am a devoted Larry Mullen
Junior lover. Thus, a lot of my stories and artwork revolve
around him. I love to write, draw, listen to music and read,
etc., but you don’t really care about that (even I
don’t really care about that), so I won’t go into
further details. My best friends are Jessie, Kathryn and Jill and
my best online friends are Jess, Mandy, Maria, Caz, Sunrazor and
(sometimes) Kris.

How I Got Into U2: Simple. Blame Darren Hayes (Savage
Garden singer dude) for being such a happy fanatic over U2 and
making me curious enough to watch "Beautiful Day." I
was hooked. 8)
Where They Found Me: On a streetcorner, wailing random
verse off-key and making people throw money into a dead
beachball.

Hello there! So, you wish to know a tad bit about me? If you must. My name is Mandy, and I have a million other nicknames (Ducks, Ms. The Edge, Mandex…this list goes on…). I take vacancy in a padded cell, hidden in my room. Where be my room, you ask? Lehighton, Pennsylvania. Lehighton is a hellish town, I prefer just hiding in my room and obsessing over U2. *nod* Speaking of U2, isn't that why you're here in the first place? I first became obsessed with U2 after getting All That You Can't Leave Behind. That's a damn good album. Anywho…it didn't take long for me to get obsessed. You're probably wondering which member of U2 I obsess over, pathetically. Being as adorable as he is…Edge is my favorite. Don't get me started on him though. Now…onward with my fics. I'm insane (it's a wonderful thing, really) and the genres that I mostly write are humor, slash (Innocent, NO!), drama, parodies, and as Mandi claims…suspense (even though this is NOT true!).
